Slumber of Love |
by Sarah |
Laying in bed with him tonight
Cradled in his arms, looking in his eyes.
His strong soft hands brushing against my cheek
Whispering in my ear makes my body weak.
Saying "baby I love you just wanted you to know,
So promise me one thing you wont ever let me go.
Cuz life without you is no life at all,
And without you hunny my world seems so small."
Then he tucked my hair behind my ear & ended with a kiss
And I knew right then and there this is what love is.
Wrapped in each other’s arms as the night went by
I didn’t want morning to come; I didn’t want this time to die.
I would give anything to stay glued in his arms
Anything to stay hypnotized by his charm.
I stroked my fingers up and down his skin
I could feel him breathing out I could feel him breathing in.
I layed my head on his chest listening to the beat of his heart
Something was telling me it was just the beginning it was just the start
Of the most greatest and wonderful adventure I could ever endure
Yes he was the answer he was the cure
I knew it was true and I knew it was so right
And then fell asleep next to the love of my life.
