I Want To Jump |
by Bob Shank |
I want to Jump
standing atop the bridge
seeming taller than everest
it would be so easy
to fulfill my quest
so tired of all the pain
the heartache and sorrow
what I see today
will only be more tomorrow
a child cries
from many years of abuse
comforting seems trivial
and of little use
people need drugs
just to survive
medical zombies
that aren't even alive
there are no neighbors
as we've become strangers
suspicious of one another
government induced dangers
I have no other choice
but no need for alarm
I'll be jumping
right into your arms.........
for that is where I find my comfort
Bob Shank Feb. 13th, 2006
Life is hard enough to do alone, find
someone to ease the burden and in the
process you just may find love....
