The Dreaded Day |
by Arielle |
The dreaded day is coming
The trademark holiday
That reminds me I’m alone again
I’d stay in bed
And sleep through the day
If I thought it would go away
Reminders are everywhere
Silhouetted with hearts
Love just sickens the air
Longing fills my heart
Wishing I had someone that day
To hold my hand
Loneliness fills my soul
None of my present suitors
Fill the gaping hole
What is wrong with Cupid
Why can’t I find my man
When will he show
The dreaded day is coming
The trademark holiday
Another, where I’m all alone
