First day of a new bride |
by Unknown |
After a long night she wakes up slowly,
Relishing the heavenly night she just had,
She sits beside him without a single noise,
Watching his baby like smiling expression
Slowly she pats on his shining forehead
Removing the bangs from his face
She gifts him a gentle caress kiss, while
he shrugs a little and continues to sleep
She takes a bath and makes a small prayer
Before she starts anything in her new world
Filled with the mess of yesterday's party
Every room had to be cleaned up a lot
Aware of not waking up anyone else
Gently she cleans up the entire house
She enters the kitchen and makes some coffee
Spreading its aroma, she knocks on each door
Listening to the whistle of the pressure cooker
When his mother wakes up and come
She scolds her with affection for doing every job
The mother sends the timid girl back to his room
But scared to wake him up or confused about what to call
She sits by his side, just watching him
Till he slowly opens his eyes to see his bride,
Blushing and giggling for each of his touch
With half dried hair curled around her face
And a bright glowing face when she smiles
He pulls her to his arms and kisses her deep
Shyly she scolds him and forces to wake up
Continuing his mischief he will finally get up
Thus it goes, the usual story that happens in my native
When I'll be a bride I know the same may happen.
For a moment, I just dreamt something like that. :D
