Happy birthday dad
and don't think i forgot
your fifty five today
look at all that you've been taught
you went from just a kid like me
to a grown up dad
making life look easy
not at any parts bad
you go through must days tired
worn and stressed out
but you still find time for us
your always there when we're in doubt
i don't know where I'd be
without the things you do
whenever i have troubles
i always turned to you
mommy sometimes doesn't understand
the things that you seem to
you've given me many chances
when all i did was fail you
you deserve more then i can give
you just don't know
you helped mommy raise us
you were there to watch our shows
when we couldn't sleep at night
because of the monster in our room
you were there to scare it away
you never came to soon
you use to take us to work with you
and show us off to all your friends
you were such a awesome parent
and you will be till the end
i hope your birthday is the best
and your not depressed about your age
for a fifty five year old
your in pretty good shape
I'm growing older and learning a lot
and i just wanna make you proud
I'll work my butt off this year
and I'll try not to be too loud
your birthday only come so often
and I'll never forget a single one
so here's a hug and a kiss from me
and know that i love you a ton
I'm your little girl
and I'll forever be

for all the times you were there for me |
