My Broken Chain
by Evelyn Hambrick
Tight as blood we use to be,but then like water we swam differently. We were each other's hard back holding in our pages, we were each others key when we wanted to escape our cages. We were a family when that we thought we lack. We were each other's stone we had each others back. We were each other's tissue when tears ruined our face. We had each other when it was always empty in our place. We were each others smile when we felt pain I just hate after all of this we allow life to break our chain.
