A Question from a Mad Lover
by Aaditya Jani
Sat on a lonely chair
The room dark and cold
Waiting for you, my love,
Remembering the times of old
Staring at a well-lit window
As dusk draw us near
Wondering whether we will meet today
Whether truly, you shall appear

As I close my eyes, I see your face
Your eyes gleaming wide
Gaping a hole in my heart and soul
And everywhere inside
I know, I?ve known you for a very short time
But, Oh my God! This feels so right
I have never been so sure of myself
I?ve never felt so right.

Drowned with love, I am running blind,
I need you by my side
Need you in my days of pain
Need you in my sight.
I know its countries that separate us,
I know there is a huge big gap!
But my darling, if it is a ?yes? from you
I?ll travel the world to rest my head on your lap.

So now Adi?s fate is in your hands
I leave it to you to decide
As you read these last few lines
My heart is in two divides
Whether you will say ?yes? or ?no?
It is aching me as I write!!!!
So please tell me, will I sleep a broken man?
Or a loving man tonight???
