Family is like a Season |
by Shane Vines |
Family is like a season.
It teeter-totters as it pleases.
When the two come together.
The flowers seem to bloom forever.
As the two grow old.
They had a little one as they told.
The little one was small and dry.
The little one was a boy as he cried.
As the two grow old and grey.
The 18 year old boy stray's away.
As the parents mourn and cry.
There is nothing they can do but say good bye.
As the two are winkled and battered.
They come to a point where nothing matters.
As the family stands and says thier good byes.
There is nothing the little boy can do but cry.
