A little girl's voice
Calls out from your heart
So pure and so tender
Yet broken apart
Give all that you have
Without hesitation or fear
To those you find trust
Yet betrayed by those dear
It is not a mistake
At all on your part
To trust those that mistreat you
Because of your heart
You hide behind a mask
An identity not your own
In hopes of hiding pain
That others have never known
Although it seems like the solution
Hurt a little easier to deal
Isn't it in reality
The fear of facing what is real?
The beautiful person that you are
Inside and out
This is no lie
These words never doubt
