Laced grace |
by Harriet Oliver |
Elementary grace is personified by lace
as humility can also be found in great
facing what has been lost without a trace
while opening the gate for unexpected mate.
Watchful eyes uprose
with increased heart beat
as a rose romance made rise those
walking barefeet.
Solemnly do go
thought frighting at lost almost
trotting to & fro in a row
while playing host to a ghost.
Sun's gay ray aways the grey
shouting about in & out
despite dismay concerning way of May
about recovering from gout.
In state lay straight
a brave man far away
now berated by the grate of a gate
having fallen prey to farewell pray. |
