I asked god for an angel,
One whom I will love.
And then I just looked up,
High in the above.
I asked god for an angel who is different from the rest.
One who god will think that I would love the best.
God looked down upon me and gave me a smile,
he said “Son, it won’t take long just give me awhile?”.
He picked out an angel who was as beautiful as could be,
And then I asked god “Is this the angel you picked for me?”.
He smiled once more and said,
“Son, move along, because the angel that I chose will soon be in your arms”.
I could bet you didn’t know when I was reading this to you.
The angel that I was talking about, that angel, it was you.
I just want to show you how I feel in both my heart and mind.
Because an angel like you is really hard to find.
Because the truth is…..an angel like you is one of a kind.
