A New Daughter |
by Angela |
It seems I have acquired a new daughter
with the same spirit as her dad
she makes me laugh and giggle
even when I'm sad
She has his big brown eyes
and the most fullest lips
with a smile as bright as day
and the tiniest little hips
She has brown hair
with many streaks of gold
a heart that is filled with passion
and all the love that it can hold
She is nineteen years old
and works a full time job
taking care of little children
and wiping tears when they sob
We get along like best of friends
we even share our clothes
she tells me all her little secrets
even things her dad doesn't know
She is really wonderful
and loves me like a mom
we are a happy little family
and I love her like my own.
